Financial Status

At ICH, we strive to be transparent about our financial status and the progress we have made in paying off the outstanding balance on our property. The property was initially purchased for $375,000, and as of the beginning of Ramadan 2021, we still have an outstanding balance of $280,000.

We humbly request our community members to contribute generously towards paying off this balance and help us realize our vision of building the house of Allah SWT. We believe that donating towards this cause is a continuous charity that will benefit the community for years to come.

By working together towards this goal, we can ensure that ICH remains a thriving center for Islamic learning and worship, and a valuable resource for the Muslim community in Harrisburg and the surrounding areas.

Donation Appeal

In the Qur’an, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala reminds us of the immense reward for those who spend their wealth in charity, both openly and in secret. We are also reminded of the importance of giving before it’s too late, as mentioned in Surah Munafiqun, Verse 10.

As Muslims, it’s our duty to donate towards the betterment of our community and help build the house of Allah SWT. The Prophet ﷺ emphasized the importance of continuous charity and encouraged us to give until our last breath.

By donating towards the construction of a masjid, we not only contribute to the development of our community but also earn rewards that will benefit us in the Hereafter. The Prophet ﷺ has promised that the shade of a believer on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.

We urge you to donate generously on your behalf, your loved ones, and those who have passed away. Your contributions will help us build a home for the worship of Allah SWT, and you will be rewarded in this life and in the Hereafter.
